HOW DO I ORDER A SET OF PRESS ON NAILS?

1. On my site I offer a selection of pre-made designs for you to choose from. Simply choose to design you like, select your chosen shape, length and size however, if you want to them to fit perfectly you can customise your size, just follow my sizing guide to find your custom sizes. 

2. I also offer custom designs via instagram @byy_herr or via email byher.info@gmail.com. Simply just send me your design inspiration picture with any other specifics along with shape, length and size.

 

WHAT DO YOU MEAN FIND MY CUSTOM SIZE?

For the press on nails to fit you perfectly you will need to know the size of your nail beds. There are a few ways you can find your size for press ons. 

  1. Order a sizing kit
  2. Measure your nail bed (side wall to side wall) with measuring tape

WHAT IF IF HAVE ORDERED NAILS AND THEY DONT FIT?

Im sorry but unfortunately as each set is handmade they cannot be returned or refunded. To ensure this does not happen I encourage purchasing a sizing kit to get the best possible chance of seeing how well you nail sets will fit. 

orders also come with a nail file so if a press on is slightly too wide you can also file it in to make it slightly smaller or shape around the cuticle area to fit your cuticle shape. 

 

HOW LONG IS THE PROCESS TIME IF I MAKE AN ORDER?

The process time varies on each set depending on the level of detail, order amount etc. I try my best to have each order made and sent out within 10 business days.

Shipping is usually 3-7 business days.

 

HOW DO I REMOVE THE NAILS?

Each order will come with these removal instructions: 

  1. Soak your nails in warm soapy water for 10-15 mins
  2. Gently wiggle the press on to see if the glue has dissolved enough
  3. Once the glue has dissolved enough apply cuticle oil around the nail to seep through
  4. Using the knife side of your pusher gently wedge it between your nail and the press on for the press on to come off
  5. If there is leftover residue from glue just wipe with acetone and apply cuticle oil

 

HOW LONG DO THE PRESS ON NAILS LAST?

These press on nails can last you anywhere between 10 days to 4 weeks using glue with correct preparation and aftercare as well as the condition of your natural nails. For a more temporary use there is also sticky tabs available. 

 

ARE PRESS ONS REUSABLE?

Yes absolutely! As long as you look after them and can safely removal glue using hot soapy water and a file you can rewear them as many times as you want. 

 

WHAT COMES WITH MY ORDER OF NAILS? 

With each set of press on nails you will receive your nails in a storage case, application and removal instruction page as well as a complimentary application kit including: cuticle pusher, nail file, buffing block, alcohol wipe, glue, sticky tabs.

HOW TO FIND OUT YOUR PRESS ON SIZE:

  1. Purchase sizing kit (recommended)
  2. Measure nail plates

Sizing kits will come will nails sizes 00-9. Try on each size to see which fits and I you're stuck between 2 sizes, go for the size up as nails can be filed in to fit. Refer to the average sizes to see what category you fall into, XS to XL. If you don't fit into one of these categories then fill in your custom sizes on the custom box when choosing your nails.

HOW DO I MEASURE MY NAIL PLATES?

  1. Using clear tape place the tape horizontally across your nail plate.
  2. Mark a line on each side wall using a pen.
  3. Remove the tape and using a ruler, measure the lines from side wall to side wall to get your nail plate width in millimetres. If your nail measures at 15.5mm round it up to 16mm as nails can be filed to fit, they can't be squeeze to fit. 
  4. Repeat the process on all 10 fingers and write your dimensions in 'mm' in the "custom size" box on your order.
